Ella Azizi was born in 1960 in Kyiv. After the graduation from the High School of Fine Arts and Industrial Design she got education in architecture, where she acquired the inclination to the unusual image composition. During the second education her works were exhibited and recognized. In the following years she continued to work intensively as she was occupied as an architect in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

Since 1992 she has been living in Germany, working as a free artist. Until now many of her works have been presented in numerous joint and individual exhibitions.

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, spray".

Giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different coloured or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are light-fast, that is, resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.

The Giclée process is suitable for real art canvas, handmade and watercolor paper and for silk.
