Herman, who was born in Paderborn in 1959, has made a well-known German artists fun a name. Hallmark of his art are the typical rough edges of his characters.

The first look at Hermans art shows how much fun the trained screen printers at the art has, which may be by no means only pleasing, but quite rebellious, satirical, gruff and humourous -. Just like the everyday itself true to life are his often animal subjects whose hallmark is precisely said rounding reluctance are taken from life.

With humour and irony, he uses the stylistic device of cartoons and creates paintings and sculptures that elicit the viewer smile.

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, spray".

Giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different coloured or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are light-fast, that is, resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.

The Giclée process is suitable for real art canvas, handmade and watercolor paper and for silk.
