Born in Wiesbaden in 1966, Nina Stoelting earned her doctorate in architecture in 1998 with a focus on design, painting and history. Since then, she has been working intensively as a freelance artist on philosophy and art.
Her wine pictures are outstanding. In them she reflects the sensual experience of the wine in different phases - from the first impression of the bouquet to the fruity impression of the palate: "Any attempt to capture the essence of a wine is fascinating, the level of the senses switch. The tasteful or olfactory stimulus becomes the optical one... Basically it is pure pleasure of the senses, pure sensuality. Concentration on one's own sensation, a sublimated play with colors, materials and surfaces. Authentic experience, reflection. That's the world I live in.
