Short description
ars mundi special edition | Limited, 499 copies | Reproduction, giclée on canvas | Stretcher | Solid wood frame | Format 55 x 45 cm (W/H)
The time spent in Arles was the most productive in the life of Dutch painter and important representative of post-impressionism Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890). The works reflect the sunny landscapes of the Southern France. Van Gogh is full of hope: in his studio in the Rhône-city he founded the artist colony. He repeatedly portrayed the city and its surrounding.
Close to the pilgrimage Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, not far from the Mediterranean see, the Camargue, is today the protected area of natural reserve. The strong blue of sky, the red of the Mediterranean soil and the solar white of the houses belong to the recognized Van Gogh's palette.
Original: oil on canvas, Art House Zurich, Switzerland.
Painting as brilliant reproduction in fine art giclee technique, canvas, 100% cotton, on a stretcher. Limited edition of 499 copies. In hand-made solid wood frame. Format 55 x 45 cm (W/H). Ars mundi special edition.
