The etching presents a horseman depiction of a Saxon prince and a Polish king August the Strong. You can see the original monument, which, by the way, is one of the most favorite in Dresden, on the Market Square in the New City. The statue shows as August in the armor of Julius Caesar is heading in the North German direction to the Polish Kingdom. He is sitting horseback on a standing Lipizzaner stallion.

Original etching on the 300 g Hahnemuhle hand made paper, numbered and signed, especially at ars mundi. Picture opening 45 x 30.5 cm. Picture opening with a mat 52 x 37 cm. Framed in a dark, silver solid wood frame, with dust protective glazing. Format 58 x 43 cm.
