Hans-Jörg Holubitschka, born in 1960 in Selters / Westerwald, was a master student of Professor Gerhard Richter and Stipendiant at the Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris.

The cycle of nature is the focus of his work. Inspired by beautiful landscapes he initially painted realistic motifs, which he then painted over with several layers. Creation and impermanence merge into the romantic landscape compositions.
