Ernst Barlach's masterpiece
Without a doubt Ernst Barlach was one of the high quality figures of expressionism and one of the most important Germany artists . He has always put the people at the center of his artistic career. Even in its "Herb-Picker-Woman", a simple woman working in the fields, which bends down to meadow plants. This sculpture, created in 1894, Barlach was masterpiece: It belonged to the final examination of his studies at the Dresden Academy of fine arts in 1895; at the same time he put it in 1898 than his first work on the great Berlin art exhibition.

Fine bronze, lost wax cast, hand patinated. The mold was taken directly from the original and reduced (reduction). Limited edition 980 pieces individually numbered and provided with the acquired from the original signature "E. Barlach" and the Casting Hallmark.
