Jan Köthe: Sculpture "Hommage to Christo and Jeanne-Claude XXI" (2016), Stainless Steel

In the work series "Hommage to Christo and Jeanne-Claude XXI" Koethe addresses to the Reichstag wrapping in Berlin. The folds of the silvery cloth, the laces, and the shadow throw flow into his stainless steel sculptures. Steles connected with a steel band are reminiscent of the laced fabric panels and lean bodies.
