Claude Gaveau is known by his admirers as master of the French fine arts. Born in 1940 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, he was educated in Paris at the École of des Arts appliqués and the École Supérieure of des Beaux-Arts. He exhibited in Europe, the United States and Japan.

The French artist enters his paintings by the abstraction of the motives for large colour space compositions.
