Diego Rivera is considered in South America as a folk hero and the most important artists of Mexico. Together with his wife Frida Kahlo, he dedicated his work to the struggle for a fairer form of society. He became world famous with his oversized murals with the fresco painting, he created an important art form of the 20th century. Rivera always took care of controversy: Because of a display of Stalin, he was expelled from the Communist Party. When he immortalized Lenin on a mural in Rockefeller Centre in New York, the painting was destroyed before its completion. In his paintings Rivera processed personal themes, such as his passionate marriage with the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, spray".

Giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different coloured or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are light-fast, that is, resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.

The Giclée process is suitable for real art canvas, handmade and watercolor paper and for silk.
