Rudiger Brassel was born on January 2, 1946 in Siegburg. After leaving school, he studied décor from 1960 to 1963 and then attended the Graphic School in Bonn. Since 1963, he made studies in oil, watercolor, tempera and pen drawing. 1978 he created his first pen and ink drawings. Since 1978 Rudiger Brassel has worked as a free artist. His works were presented in solo exhibitions in Germany and Switzerland and in group exhibitions such as at the Art Expo New York or Basel. Brassel is an excellent drawing master and painter who is perfectly skilled in his craft. He painted impressive landscapes and still lives with dedication and a high degree of precision, which impress viewers with their idyllic atmosphere and natural charm.

The field of graphic arts, that includes artistic representations, which are reproduced by various printing techniques.

Printmaking techniques include woodcuts, copperplate engraving, etching, lithography, serigraphy.
