Robert Nippoldt: Picture "Casablanca"

In Hollywood of Robert Nippoldt the Californian illusions change into the witty poster art. His stroke in contrast to the respiring free surfaces lets us see the stars of our time in a new way. The graphichs of Nippoldt represent as much glamour as needed and at the same time as much privacy as possible. They make us feel easy and laugh. In his Hollywood edition the sacral cult figures become pleasantly earthly.

We offer this high resolution giclée on high-quality hand-made paper exclusively at ars mundi. Limited edition of 199 copies, signed and numbered. Sheet format 45 x 35 cm. Framed in black solid wood frame with a bevelled mat and dust-protective glazing. Format 49 x 39 cm.

Giclée = derived from the French verb gicler meaning "to squirt, spray".

Giclée method is a digital printing process. It is a high-resolution, large-format printout on an inkjet printer with special different coloured or pigment-based inks (usually six to twelve). The colours are light-fast, that is, resistant to harmful UV light. They have a high richness of nuance, contrast and saturation.

The Giclée process is suitable for real art canvas, handmade and watercolor paper and for silk.
