Short description
Slate + bronze | 3 unique pieces | Signed | Format: each 20 x 15 cm | Weight each ca. 2.5 kg | Suspension device
There are just a few elements included by Klaus Börner in his distinctive picture objects – the sun, a tree, a distant forest, a passing bird. And, still, he manages to present the characteristics of a landscape with minimalist charm and precision.
The educated goldsmith and sculptor included half plastic elements of patinated bronze in a finely structured slate plate, creating an amazing depth effect of his objects and also capturing the color composition of sunset light in a most impressive manner (an effect intensified by the three objects as a whole work of art). The inspiration for sun colors was the skin of a jasper snake in artist´s collection.
Three wall objects of slate and bronze. Each piece is a single piece, signed by the artist. Format: each 20 x 15 cm, Weight each ca. 2.5 kg. With suspension device. Catalogue number: 445/450/455.
