The artist Olga Roehl, born in the German Daugavpils, has earned international fame with her expressive artistic dolls and sculptures.

At the age of 14, she discovered her passion for the profession of a doll maker. She graduated from the Art School of Industrial Design in Rekzekne (Latvia). Then she attended the prestigious Tatiana Baeva School in Moscow and continued her art studies at the University of Daugavpils, where she graduated with honors.

As a performer, director, artist, designer, choreographer and modeler, she designed many performances and seminars with the puppet theater in Riga. Besides numerous exhibitions both in Latvia and abroad, her works are exhibited in Latvian museums and in many international private collections and galleries.

Designation for an art object (sculpture, installation), which is produced according to the will of the artist in multiple copies in a limited and numbered edition.

Artist's multiple contributed to "democratization" of art as the work was made available and affordable for a wider audience.
