Bodo W. Klös: Picture "Garter Holder"

One of favorite motifs of Bodo W. Klos is a raven, a traditionally symbolic creature in northern Europe for hundreds of years. The author portrays a raven not as a shrewish creature, bringing misfortune, but provides it with human traits and depicts it as a prankster which thinks out some bad thing. We see the total harmony of the situation and think that a bird simply reaches some piece of accessories to the lady, reflected in the mirror, to complete her clothing.

Original color etching on handmade paper. Limited edition of 200 copies, signed by hand, titled and numbered. Catalog number. BK 513. Unframed. Motif size 10 x 14 cm. Sheet size 28,5 x 39,5 cm.
