The most extensive collection of Elizabethan and Jacobean jewelry was buried underground for nearly 300 years until construction workers found it in a wooden box in 1912 near St Paul's Cathedral. The necklace, we present here, bases on one of the pieces from the so-called Cheapside Hoard Collection.
The filigree necklace made of gilded pewter with small flower applications in white and blue is complemented by amethyst and quartz. Chain length 45.5 cm. Carabiner lock.
