Cloisonné Owl Couple

For more than a century cloisonne technique is famous far over the borders of China. The objects prepared in the cloisonne technique were popular among the members of the court, especially during the times of the Yuan and Ming dynasties.

The corps of the object was made from the brass. The small thin bridges were arttached, filled with the enamel, branded many times, polished and gilded. The owl couple made in the pure manual work, each piece is unique. Format of each owl is ca. 3,5 x 3,5 x 3,5 cm.
