Marcos Torres is an educated commercial and graphic artist. Until the 1990s he worked in various advertising studios before he started a career of a freelance artist.

Torres used the printmaking technique to create multi-layered works inspired by pop art. His productions are populated by reminiscences of the music and pop culture, always garnished with a dash of retro feeling.
