Friedensreich Hundertwasser was one of the most famous artists of the 20th century. As a painter he left the works of the great colorful richness and vibrant lightness. For him painting process was a religious occupation, he described it as "vegetative", which meant equal to natural growth processes.
This luxurious wall plate in the representative big format was prepared in the Royal Priviliged Porcelain Factory Tettau. Twice branded at the temperature 1200°C, dishwasher proof. Diameter 34 cm. Weight 1.4 cm. Each piece is numbered by hand. "The Antipodes" was decorated in 18 colors, gold and platinum. Work number PM VII. After "928B King of The Antipodes". Framed in the golden color solid wood strip with black background, not glazed. Format 52.5 x 52.5 cm.
