Welf Schiefer
Welf Schiefer, born in 1980, began his artistic career with street art, before he began in 2003 his graphic design studies at Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences and Arts. He studied with Bernd Frank (poster design) and Paul Kunofski the printing techniques of lithography, serigraphy, linocut and etching. Max Ernst, George Grosz and Otto Dix are the models of Schiefer.
With critical and ironic drawing style and his love of mischievous detail, there is always something new to discover for the viewer. He lives and works as a freelance artist - with a focus on etching - in Hannover, Germany.
