Sonja Edle von Hoeßle
Everything is in a flow: on the oil paintings of Sonja Noble von Hoeßle with the flowing colors, the element of water is literally noticeable. The objects on her paintings remind of nature and landscapes, but as if in a dream, the contours remain not clear.
The paintings with their relief-like surfaces are dynamic and organic, almost alive. For this visual effect, the artist developed her very individual painting technique, where she applies several layers of oil paint, applying it to the canvas in thick layers with spatula and knife downright modulated.
Sonja Noble von Hoeßle, born in 1960, is not only a painter but also a sculptor. She studied Visual Communication at FH Mainz and FH Würzburg. Since 1996, she regularly presents her work at home and abroad.
