Christian Achenbach
The motive itself doesn't decide everything. It isn't enough for what we call the quality of the painting," said Christian Achenbach (*1978), the Berlin sculptor and the painter. Following his credo, he emphasizes the experimentation with colors, surfaces and geometrical shapes in his works. He didn't bandage himself with any artistic school or direction and created a unique, colorful Universum, by treating the things as they are.
Achenbach graduated from the University of Berlin where he attended classes of Daniel Richter and received a master degree under the coordination of Anselm Reyle.
