Rudolf Hausner, 1914-1995, is considered the most outstanding representatives of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism. In the 50s he became famous when he started to present in his works through the leitmotif figure of "Adam": "I can see the world only by myself!"

With this guiding principle, the artist has created a form of the twentieth century: the curious, enlightened, helpless, but also skeptical contemporaries, who wants to go to the bottom of things. Identifying us with him, his work on the individual points. The collective self portrait of modern man succeeded in Hausner.
