Peter Nagel
Peter Nagel, born 1941 and founded in 1964-65 with Dietmar Ulrich and Dieter Asmus the internationally noticed and now art history artists group ZEBRA. The goal was the link between art and the world to restore and to create a modern, contemporary realism.
The formulation of new forms of image, in which the perspective the picture subject does credibly visible and led to high international recognition. Numerous pictures of Peter Nagels are located today in leading collections and museums of modernity in Basel, Aachen, Dusseldorf, Florence, Hamburg, Kiel, Lausanne, New Delhi, Rome, Schloss Gottorf and Munich. For 20 years (until 2005) Peter Nagel was a Professor of painting at the Muthesius Art Academy in Kiel.
