Günther Christlein
Günter Christlein, inherently a physicist with a PhD, began his career as a sculptor after studying sculpture at the University of Munich.
Since the early sixties he modeled sculptures of great sensual physicality and erotic charisma. Expression and body language of his female figures are always full of atmosphere and are aimed at a very specific form of sensual beauty and erotic appeal. He deliberately made his sculptures incomplete, but let them, so to speak, grow out of the modeling clay. He creates the contrast that appeal to the viewer in its feeling for forms, senses, mind and subconscious.
