Roland Roure, born in 1940, is one of the most popular kinetic and objects makers of France. He became known through the spectacular installation "La Crèche animée de Roland Roure", at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris and widely. He created the objects of wire, sheet metal and wood seem destined to move up at night like constellations in the sky. And of course, involve the characters a little secret: After touching an embedded wire sculptures become magical light objects. Roland Roures figures include, on the fairy tale, two worlds: the world of adults and the world of small, provided with adult eyes seen through children's eyes.

"... Somewhere in southern France in the country lives a wizard. He has the gift, a sheet metal strip in a dancer, to enchant an old wire in a pair of lovers and a piece of wood in a horse with wings. You can float, balance, swing arms, moving in the wind, or emit mild light..." (Brigitte)
