Born in 1953, who has made a name as a painter, stage designer and object maker, loves the colour. Her use of colour is straightforward like her art. Rosalie is breaking new ground, turns things that draws unknown. Her art is baffled by innocent provocation. In 1994 she designed the document-participant the stage for Wagner's "Ring of the Nibelungen" for the Bayreuth Festival. Her most spectacular action was the unique installation of 31 larger than life "Flossie" on the facades of the UNICEF building in Cologne and the NRW-Forum in Dusseldorf. She designed a fascinating light-room installation for a "Concerto for voice and orchestra light" on the Donaueschingen Music Days. The winner of many prices since 1995 as a professor at the college of design in Offenbach in main.

Rosalie

A plastic work of sculptural art made of wood, stone, ivory, bronze or other metals.

While sculptures from wood, ivory or stone are made directly from the block of material, for bronze casting a working model is prepared at first. Usually it is made of clay or other easily shaped materials.

The prime time of sculpture after the Roman antiquity was the Renaissance. Impressionism gave a new impulse to the sculptural arts. Also the contemporary artists, such as Jorg Immendorf, Andora, and Markus Lupertz enriched the sculpture with outstanding works.
